The first scheduled event at the art center is on the calendar!
A book club will take place on the second Tuesday of each month in the Scissortail Art Center’s 207 space at 207 W 3rd Street in Grand Island. It will begin at 7pm.
The first book will be Sara Zarr’s How to Save a Life.
Jill MacSweeney just wishes everything could go back to normal. But ever since her dad died, she’s been isolating herself from her boyfriend, her best friends—everyone who wants to support her. And when her mom decides to adopt a baby, it feels like she’s somehow trying to replace a lost family member with a new one.
